Hero Alom (popular name), was once a cable operator in one of the renowned city named Bagura in Bangladesh. Back in 2016 , overnight he become famous after one of his video broke the internet. And out of nowhere, he became a hot topic to discuss across the country. Because he has kind of eccentric physical shape and outlandish appearance. Since then he had appeared in several videos namely drama centric , because people welcomed him highly. Doesn’t matter whether it’s in the name of troll or extol. But one thing he was managing greatly . He was gaining public attention perfectly.

So, its imperative to say that he is one of the most familiar face across the country.

Now its 2018 and Bangladesh preparing for its 11th national election.

And, yes, he is going to compete for the National Election.

He has neither kind of political background nor that of educational background. He has one thing for sure, currently he is outright familiar face across the country.

I never want to mean that if someone possess high educational and political background then he is only suitable for running national election or aftermath of the election he will perform unquestionably good.

What I want to say in Bangladesh you don’t need that so called criteria for running in the national election.

You have became famous overnight then run for national election. Because, holding a seat in the Parliament is the most lucrative job in Bangladesh.

For your kind information, people from sports and movie industry are joining en masse to grab a seat in the Parliament.

May be , this is bit of weird in rest of the world.

NB. Please, don’t misjudge me. I don’t have any intention to belittle this guy, I just want to show this guy an example that this is really weird compare to other countries.

Edit: Some of you are comparing this man with incumbent US President Donald Trump and other showbiz actors across the globe. But please don’t miss my point. Donald Trump has highly successful career in real state business and he also responsible for managing reality show like Apprentice. He wrote a book named “The art of deal” , which was one of the international bestseller book. He aslo expressed his desire to run for president back in 1990. So, this is not a out of nowhere case. This is also appropriate for others people who run for national election in their respective countries. We often forget that they have possessed a very long successful career and after that they were headed to bagging a seat in the Parliament. That is absolutely different case.

You can’t compare them to aforementioned persons. I am saying this weird because in Bangladesh there are ample examples of these people who became famous overnight and heading towards bagging a seat in the Parliament , Hero Alom is only one of them and needless to say he’s a far better nominee than rest of them .
